Ok, this shouldn't be too difficult; words are kind of my thing. So, hey, I'm Beth Thorne, and this << is what I look like most days when I'm at Bigfish. I absolutely love the instant interaction of all forms of blogging and social media, and fantasize about one day being a big deal on Twitter. Some people might call me a grammar nerd, but I prefer schoolmarm.

I'm a reader-writer-mother-wife who is lucky enough to have a great job here at Bigfish engaging in social media writing. I'm a native Memphian, and graduated from the University of Memphis in 2002 with a BA in English. Since then, I've worked as the administrator of a local learning center and the Director of Communications for an area church. I'm also wife to Ryan and mother to Isabella, who is six and loving her first year of kindergarten, and Emerson, who is four and loving having the toy room to herself during the day.

When I'm not glued to my Macbook, you will find me at a local Bartlett book store with a Grande White Chocolate Mocha, my earbuds and a brand new - or indelibly classic - novel.
